(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) -- Whosoever South is off to a fast start with the release of their debut album, "Goin' Home" (Pitbull Productions), which was released on May 14th via distribution partner Elevate Entertainment. In support of the release, the group is hitting the road next week on a media tour that will take them to major markets such as Toronto, Atlanta, Memphis, Little Rock, Louisville and more.
The group will make their live television debut on "100 Huntley Street" on May 27th, airing in the USA on NRB Network and throughout Canada on CTS. The group will also make live appearances on "Good Morning Arkansas" (May 29), popular Memphis morning show "Live at 9" (May 30) and "Atlanta Live" (June 3). In addition, Whosoever South will be taping an episode of TCT's live concert series, "TCT Sessions," plus interviews with nationally syndicated radio program Soul2Soul and Sirius/XM's Elvis Radio - live from Graceland.
Early reviews were universally positive with "Goin' Home" being declared as one of "Five Under-the-Radar Albums You Need to Hear" by television network GMC. TheAntidoteRadio.com said that the album "has to be considered one of the outstanding albums released in 2013," with BlackGospelBlog.com calling it "an impressive debut and a likely contender for top album of 2013."
The early buzz for what started as a truly independent album release led to an eleventh hour retail distribution deal with Elevate Entertainment and a major management deal with Nashville-based Michael Smith & Associates.
